Meet Zorro
Super cute Zorro.
Zorro was found abandoned with two other dogs. One of the dogs disappeared, so Zorro and his friend Claudia (also looking for a home) were moved to safety.
Zorro is happy with all female dogs, but can be choosy with his male company so a female dog or dog free home is what Zorro would like.
Zorro is described as very cuddly and obedient. He loves to be a lap dog. He has been learning to walk on a lead and adores long walks in the local forest with his carer.
Zorro is currently living in a pension around cats and children. He is happy around both so would be suited to a family home.
Zorro is fully vaccinated and neutered.
Zorro has just finished treatment for heartworm and will be tested very soon. He will be able to travel to the UK after two negative heartworm control tests and a scan to check no lasting damage. This information will be supplied to future adopters to share with their vet. Heartworm is fairly common in Serbia and many dogs/cats recover in full if caught early enough and dogs/cats can lead full and normal lives. Heartworm is not generally well known in the UK but there are plenty of articles online and a useful video within the video library on our website here.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
