Sophie

Our adorable Sophie was rescued as a very young pup and spent her life in a pension in Serbia, until she came to the UK in December 2023.  Sadly Sadie struggled to settle and regressed so much during that time, that her adopter agreed that Sophie needed to be around other confident and playful dogs. Sophie moved to a foster home where she immediately began to show the Sophie our Trustees had met on their visit last year to Serbia.

 

Sophie loves having willing play mates and is gaining so much confidence from being with other dogs. Therefore, Sophie’s forever home must have a confident and playful resident dog. Sophie lived happily around cats and is not reactive to them.

 

Sophie can be shy with some strangers, but she is improving massively in her foster home and out on walks. She walks well on her lead and lives a good sniff and enriching walk.

 

Sophie loves playing with toys and is described as a playful rascal.  She is mostly toilet trained with only the very odd accident which is to be expected after her upheaval.

 

Sophie would be the perfect addition to a home with a confident dog as she gets on famously with all dogs. Sophie is fine around older children 10 plus and has lived with them regularly in her previous home and when she was in her pension in Serbia.

 

Sophie is spayed and fully vaccinated.

 

 

All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
