Meet Misty
Misty's story is a sad one. She was spotted squashed between a dog house and a wall by one of our trustees while visiting one of the public pounds back in Oct 2019. At first, we didn't know if she was even alive.
She spent a few weeks at the vets as she was very thin, unwell and had an awful jaw injury.
Misty is probably a Pointer mix and such a pretty girl. Misty needs a roof palette repair which will be done in the UK by a specialist in the Eastcott area.
We are also considering foster care for Misty whilst the operation is undertaken. BU will fundraise to finance the operation, but if you could consider giving her a temporary home or her forever one it would mean the world to her.
Misty adores people and loves to be hugged, but she doesn't like small dogs or cats. She can be homed with children over ten, so with the right family would make a lovely addition - she has lots of love to give, she just needs the chance to show it.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
