Meet Mavis
Mavis is a beautiful Balkan Hound. She ended up in a public shelter with her sister as a pup and they were moved to safety in a pension.
Mavis is a cheerful, playful girl and gets along well with other dogs. She is good with cats and children as well. She was understandably a little distrustful of people at first but her confidence has improved tremendously over time.
Mavis will need a patient and understanding new owner who is is willing to help her continue to grow in confidence at her own pace. A quiet home would be ideal to help her relax.
She is vaccinated and will be spayed before transport.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
