Meet Hope
Hope was rescued from a town where several street dogs were shot where they slept one night.
Thankfully, Hope was one of the lucky ones and despite what she must have witnessed she is a loving and friendly dog to both men and women.
Hope is vaccinated and spayed.
Hope is great on a lead and travels well in the car. She loves to play with other dogs, loves human attention and particularly adores children (see her videos on Facebook!).
Hope has tested positive on a routine screening test for Anaplasmosis, this is a fairly common tick- borne disease prevalent in countries such as the Balkans, it is treated with a course of 30 days of antibiotics which is sufficient according to vet advice received. Hope does not show any symptoms of Anaplasmosis and has received their 30 day course of treatment. This is a useful information sheet on Anaplasmosis, please contact the team if you have any questions.
All our dogs are tested for the following prior to travel: Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Erlichiosis, Lyme Disease, Brucellosis (since 11th June 2021).
