Casper
My name is Casper and I’m currently living in a pension in Serbia.
My story is a sad one, but don’t worry I’m ok now! I was taken out of the back of an awful dog catchers lorry with my siblings and mom, we were on our way to a notorious kill shelter when a group of lovely people were doing something called “protesting” and they made those nasty dog catchers hand us over so that they could take us to safety. I did come to the Uk but I struggled to adapt to home life and I have these things called “thresholds” that I have to live within so that I feel safe, secure and happy. I also need to know the people I’m surrounded by and I don’t really much care for strangers or dogs I don’t know in my zone, I know that my siblings and mom have all adapted well to their new lives in the Uk but I just couldn’t do it, i couldn’t be that dog. I think they’ve all been very brave but the BU family tell me I’m the bravest of them all because I tried my hardest but I let them know i wasn’t happy instead of just trying to ignore it.
My carers listened when I said that this life wasn’t for me and they let me go back to a pension where I now feel so happy and secure. My BU family are true to their promise that they will always take care of me no matter what. By sponsoring me you are helping to keep me safe and my tummy full. I have a few friends here that I’ve managed to suss out and we can rub along nicely,
I am quite happy to have attention and fuss from my carers, and I love it when our friend Snezana visits as she has worked very hard bless her to get me to like her! She’s quite nice, especially when she comes with treats!
Thank you for thinking of me, I know some people may think my life should be different but I’m happy just as I am. Lots of love and licks Casper
